Why are there two versions of the plagiarism scanner? (one for AK researchers and one for everyone else) The reason for this is that when we scan writers' work in-house, we are able to see if someone has scanned the work previously, and we need to be able to tell if this is an Academic Knowledge writer. If not, it may indicate plagiarism. Clearly, writers will scan the work before they send it to us and we need to make sure that we can tell the difference between those scans, and the scans of customers and other people. So if you are an Academic Knowledge writer, please use the correct version of the software to scan your work, to avoid any possible disputes over plagiarism.
