Benefits of working for Academic Knowledge - writing education jobs

Are these non teaching jobs in education?

Yes, they are. Well suited to the graduate who perhaps is looking for jobs after teaching, or prefers to work outside the classroom, freelance writing and researching jobs at Academic Knowledge are an ideal way to boost your income. You work when you want, as much as you want, from the comfort of your own home, or even while travelling. One of our researchers has uploaded model answers from a canal boat, and another from Germany, where he was on holiday!

What is a model answer?

Model answers are an important type of guidance for students who lack confidence, may feel overwhelmed or too embarrassed to seek extra help, or need confirmation that they are working in the right direction. Perhaps a student can’t understand why he or she is getting only 2:2s; this is a major problem when a 2:1 is needed to enter many PGCE courses. The student contacts us with details of the topic outline that is a stumbling block for him or her; this will typically include the word count, type of references, and due date (generally 5 days per 5000 words) but may also include preferred sources, a particular structure, or other requirements.

Academic Knowledge emails freelance Education writers with the details of the brief, who register their interest if they wish to complete the job. Once the student has paid, the job is allocated to a writer, who must then complete it within the parameters set, and upload it to Academic Knowledge. It is then checked – for example, to make sure that your privacy is guaranteed – and sent to the client.

Doesn’t this seem like cheating?

Students using our services sign a contract not to commit plagiarism by passing off your work as their own. We explain why plagiarism is wrong, the possible ramifications, and protect our researchers from complicity in an academic offence by ensuring the writer retains the copyright, and uploading model answers to a popular plagiarism checker which will bring up an alert if your work is copied. Students order model answers because they simply don’t understand why their work is not achieving high marks. For this reason, they usually order a model answer to be written to an aspirational standard. Using your work as a guide, they can see how analysis is imperative, the type of structure that makes an essay logical, or even the standard of grammar required.

Freelance writers may write up to and including their own level of qualification: for example, a researcher with a Master’s Pass in Education may write at any undergraduate level, or Master’s pass. To apply scan your Education degree certificate(s) and a sample of writing and follow the instructions - hopefully soon you’ll be earning money helping others!
