Freelance Writer - Architecture

We are looking for highly qualified professionals/academics to expand our team of expert researchers and writers in Architecture and related fields, such as Architectural Technology and Design. The freelance researchers in our architectural team have extensive experience in Architecture, and Architectural Technologies. Our services have helped many students of Architecture find their way through the creative process of design; in relation to culture and technology, and the changing shape of the built environment. It’s a great opportunity for architecture graduates and professionals to earn additional income and further their own skills and academic career.

Typical briefs that our freelance writers have completed include papers on aspects of Architectural Technology, such as the role of mechanical and electrical services in complex buildings, green buildings, architectural design, conservation, and preservation of the built environment. Our architectural writers have also assisted students on topics such as building regulations, health and safety in design, and construction and CDM regulations for designers, with expertise extending to urban design and sustainable development. Our freelance researchers have also helped graduates in the preparation for professional accreditation.

Requirements

We require all our researchers to have a recognised university degree to at least a 2:1 level. The reality is that many of our researchers are qualified at Masters level and above, and have extensive experience of working as Architects in the construction industry. We welcome new researchers with degrees in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Urban Design, Architecture and Planning, Architecture and Environmental Engineering, as well as Architectural Technology, or any other degree related to Architecture, such as structural engineering.

To be eligible to apply for this vacancy you must have:

1. A minimum of a 2:1 undergraduate degree or equivalent (60%+)
2. Excellent written English skills

Earnings
